What Is My Mobile Money Pages?

My Mobile Money Pages is a product created by Andrew Davidson that is supposed to automatically create webpages for you, optimized for mobile platforms like tablets and smartphones, that make you lots of money with little to no work.  It sounds pretty good, but let’s delve a little deeper to see if it’s worth it.

Mobile devices have become huge in the last few years.  I never would have guessed it, but we may be moving to the point where more people access the Internet via mobile devices than by computer.  That’s not surprising given that there are more than 5.2 billion cellphones worldwide.  That is why My Mobile Money Pages caught my interest.

My Mobile Money Pages is software that automatically creates mobile-friendly webpages for you.  The software is available via the web or a mobile app from either the App Store or the Google Play Store, so you can use the software on both your computer and a mobile device.  It is really simple to use.  All you do is enter a few parameters, hit submit, and boom!  You have a ready-made webpage.

Your new webpage will have affiliate links included, so if someone clicks on your affiliate links and buys the product you linked to, you earn a commission.

The process is pretty easy and takes just a few simple steps.

Step 1: Enter a few simple parameters.

step 1

When you click start, the software automatically generates your website.

Step 2: Enter your main keyword into the software’s keyword tool.

Once you submit your main keyword, the keyword tool will return the top 50 related keywords.

Step 3: Copy keywords generated by keyword tool to your money page.

Once you copy the top keywords into the software, it will generate your money page with content optimized for those keywords, so when someone searches for them later, your page will come up near the top of the search results.

At least that is what is supposed to happen.

Additionally, the software promises to automatically create comments on your site as well as “quality ‘authority’ backlinks.”  However, it does not get into what these comments will be or where these backlinks will be located.

What I Like

At the most basic level, My Mobile Money Pages has a solid idea.  Build a website, post content on the website, link to products, and get paid when someone buys the product after clicking your link.  That is how affiliate marketing works, and affiliate marketing can be profitable.

Unfortunately, this “done for you” system creates a whole bunch more problems.

What I Don’t Like

There are a number of things I don’t like about My Mobile Money Pages.

1. Spun Content.  Spun content is defined as content created by software.  This is an example where the ease of use actually creates problems.  There are a couple of problems with spun content.

Problem #1: Google is on to you.  Search engines have become more sophisticated in recent years.  They are looking to return high quality search results, and the fact is that spun content is not high quality.  It was created by software, and it looks like content created by software.

Problem #2: Poor reader experience. Assuming someone actually makes it to your page despite the poor rankings, what they’ll see when they get there is not going to be something that holds their attention.  Spun content is never interesting to read.  The result?  Poor conversions.

2. Backlinks.  The video on the sales page promises to “build quality ‘authority’ backlinks to your site,” but there is no detail on where these backlinks will be located.  Here’s the problem.  Getting high quality authority backlinks is rather difficult.  You need to get someone whose site is considered an authority to post a link to your site.  Usually, the only way you can achieve that is to post to their site as a guess blogger, and they have to agree to that first.  That means fostering relationships with authority site owners, something that takes time and effort.  There is no way that software can automatically post backlinks to your site and have them actually be considered “authority backlinks” by Google.

In fact, if it does automatically post backlinks to your site, they will likely be low quality, which can end up hurting your rankings, or in a worst case scenario, end up making you totally invisible to the search engines.  This can literally ruin your site, and since you have no control over the backlinks, there’s no way to remove them so your site can recover.  This is dangerous business in the online marketing world.

3. Out of date. The sales video was created in 2012 and has not been updated.  More than likely, the software hasn’t been updated either.  That’s five years ago, which is a lifetime in the Internet world.  That might explain why it uses automatically created backlinks and spun content.  Those methods used to work back in the day.  Today, they do more harm than good.

4. Unrealistic claims. This is what the sales video claims you can make from these automatically created pages.

$203,643.96 a year

While this is possible with a legitimate affiliate marketing business, it is highly unlikely using spun content, automatically generated pages.

Tools and Training

You do get some training with My Mobile Money Pages, which amounts to about one hour of video training combined with some PDF’s to go along with it.

The training is mediocre at best.  It basically describes how to sign up for affiliate programs, how to get traffic, etc.  The training on traffic is particularly lacking.  Since all SEO and content is automated, it basically says that if you want to get traffic, post links on social media and forums.  Posting on social media is good, but if that’s all you do, it won’t amount to much traffic.

Support is pretty non-existent.  Once you buy the product, with the exception of less than an hour of training, you’re pretty much on your own.

we originally decided a price of $997 was a bare minimum price

Luckily, the price you can get My Mobile Money Pages, as of this writing, is $39.95.

Unfortunately, My Mobile Money Pages is not a product I can recommend.  If you spend the money on this product, all you will end up with is a bunch of automatically generated webpages that no one will want to visit and will probably never find anyway.  You will not make any money with this product.

If Not My Mobile Money Pages, Then What?

I mentioned earlier that in theory, My Mobile Money Pages had a good concept: build a website, promote products, and get paid when other people buy them.

That is an oversimplified description of affiliate marketing, and there is a right way and a wrong way to do it.  My Mobile Money Pages is just one of the many wrong ways.

Fortunately, there is an online community where you can learn to do affiliate marketing the right way.  It is called Wealthy Affiliate, and it is FREE to join.

Here is a comparison between My Mobile Money Pages and Wealthy Affiliate.

If you have tried My Mobile Money Pages, I would love to hear about your experience.  Just leave a Comment below.

  1. I was kind of excited when I first started reading. I thought, it would be so nice to be able to create pages and know they will be mobile friendly. I never really thought much about this until your post. But you are right, more and more people are accessing the web from their phones instead of using a computer. Heck I do it too. So it makes sense to make sure my website is mobile friendly. So yes, Wealthy Affiliate seems like the best alternative!

    1. One of the things I like about Wealthy Affiliate is that the website is totally mobile friendly.  I can interact with the community just as easily on my phone or tablet as I can on a computer.  And the webpages you create at Wealthy Affiliate through the Site Rubix Platform are mobile friendly as well.  That’s really important.

I can tell you that when I first heard of My Mobile Money Pages, I was really excited.  I mean, talk about something that will run on total autopilot.  Unfortunately, upon further investigation, I discovered that you’ll just be throwing your money away.

  2. Hello Andy,

Great review on Mobile Money Pages. This is another example of, “If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.”

I was seriously in shock when you said this allows you to build a website without having to actually work on it. That is crazy and I wouldn’t even consider that website, “your” website anymore.

Wealthy Affiliate is definitely a much better alternative. As a matter of fact, it’s hard to even compare them. It’s like comparing a nice burger joint to McDonald’s.

    Kind Regards,

    1. Unfortunately, Eric, a lot of people are drawn to products that promise a lot of money to be made with little to no work.  Heck, wouldn’t we all love that?  Unfortunately, that’s not how the real world works.  If someone is promising you something for nothing, you can be sure that it’s too good to be true.

  3. I had seen mobile money pages and thought it was a great idea. As with all things, I like to research before I buy or try and I’m glad I did. It did sound too good to be true and it appears it is.
Thanks for writing this as I have learnt a lot.

  4. Hi Andy, luckily for me, I have not tried mobile money pages. I have however tried your recommendation, Wealthy Affiliate, and I gotta say that it truly does offer the state of the art training and community to contact with if you ever get stuck.

The truth is that you have to work hard in life to get what you want, nothing will just give it to you, not mobile money pages, nothing. Thanks for the informative review!

    1. Thanks for the comment, Jacob.

I think a  lot of these products that make promises of riches to be made online with little to no work are counting on people jumping on board simply because they’re being told exactly what they want to hear.  I know I would love to just copy a few pages, set them up, and then just cash the checks.  Unfortunately, the real world doesn’t work that way.

I have had nothing but good experiences at Wealthy Affiliate, and like you said, any time you get stuck, there are literally thousands of people there to help.  And unlike Mobile Money Pages, they don’t make unrealistic claims.  You will get out of your business exactly what you put in to it.

      Have a great day!
