James Scholes is a successful Internet marketer.  I first found out about him on Twitter when someone I follow tweeted a link to one of his videos.  It was actually quite good, so I decided to click on the link and came to the sales page.  Here is what I found.

Disclaimer: I have not purchased this product for the simple reason that there is no guarantee.  Therefore, my review is based on what James himself has said in the marketing info AND in other videos he has published combined with my experience with online income opportunities and other reviews I have discovered online.

So let’s get started.

James is promoting Evergreen Wealth Formula as a fully automated business.  He claims that once you set up your website and traffic streams, your income will be totally automated.  The only time you will need to work on your business is when you want to increase your income.

So how do you make money with Evergreen Wealth Formula?

There are three steps to making money with the Evergreen Wealth Formula.

Step 1: Setup.  What will you be setting up?  Essentially, you will be setting up squeeze pages to promote affiliate products and collect email addresses for email marketing.  James provides you with the content for the squeeze pages, so you do not have to come up with any content on your own, though you can edit the content if you like.  Web hosting for your squeeze pages is included.

Step 2: Automate.  The sales page describes this step as obtaining fully automated traffic.  Upon further research, I discovered that some of the traffic sources include:

  • Warrior Forum
  • Twitter
  • YouTube
  • Paid Traffic

Step 3: Scale.  One thing James stresses in his sales video is the ability to scale up your business to increase your income by increasing your traffic streams.  He says that you can “expect sales and income to grow every time you implement this.”

The sales page gives “5 reasons why there’s nothing else quite like quite like the Evergreen Wealth Formula 2.0 on the market.”

  1. Never worry about traffic again – ever
  2. Zero content creation required
  3. Beginner friendly
  4. Need help? Get lifetime support… for free – Email support from James personally
  5. Want fast results? No problem – “Fast Traffic Methods” module to get sales on day one

And of course, we have the usual PayPal screenshots, testimonials, and warning that it will soon be unavailable.

Pros and Cons

  • Some good training for beginnerspros
  • Website with hosting included
  • Legitimate traffic methods
  • Introduction to email marketing and autoresponders
  • James produces awesome videos!
  • No upsells – no bait and switch

  • Everyone gets the same content – your website will not rank well.cons
  • Static squeeze pages are hard to get traffic for.
  • Most traffic methods are not automatic – they will require work to keep generating traffic.
  • Only automatic traffic system that works is paid traffic, and that costs money.
  • Unrealistic income claims on the sales page
  • No free trial
  • No guarantee

Who Is Evergreen Wealth Formula For?

Evergreen Wealth Formula is for online marketing beginners who have no experience with Internet marketing.

Experienced marketers already know most of the information you can learn here.  They also know that the secret of successful online marketing is content creation.  That would be unique content and lots of it, not duplicate content that everyone who pays for access can just post on their websites.

Tools and Training

toolsBased on all the reviews I have read, the training at Evergreen Wealth Formula is top notch.  And given what I’ve seen of James’ videos online, that is not surprising.  He really is an engaging speaker, and I am sure you will learn a lot from his videos inside the member area.

I have heard mixed reviews on the quality of support at Evergreen Wealth Formula.  I will say that a big plus is the fact that James is accessible via email one-on-one for any questions you might have.  I’m thinking that he gets a lot of emails, so you may have to wait awhile to get a reply, so that might be one reason for the mixed reviews.

priceThere is only one price: $197 for the full program.  This includes lifetime access to James via email.

There is an option for private Skype support with James, but this costs $2,000, and it’s totally not worth it considering you can get email support for James included with your $197.

Final Verdict

Rating Recap

Evergreen Wealth Formula

Overall Rating: two starsthumbs down

Evergreen Wealth Formula is definitely not a scam.  James is providing a lot of good training here, and there is a chance that you can make some money with this program.

However, I do have a number of problems with this product.

Problem #1: How It Is Marketed.  PayPal screenshots showing unrealistic earning potential, tons of testimonials, and “fully automated” claims generally fall in the “too good to be true” category.

Problem #2: No Content Creation Required.  This seems appealing at first, but if you are not creating the content, that means James is creating the content for you… and everyone else who buys Evergreen Wealth Formula.  Duplicate content is not a reliable way to make money online.

Problem #3: Automated Traffic.  Automated traffic is good in some situations, like when your website achieves page one ranking on Google, which is not going to happen here because your content will be identical to many other people who get the exact same content from James.  Paid traffic can work, but you have to know the right way to use it, and if you’re not careful, you can lose a lot of money.  Other traffic methods, like Twitter, YouTube and forums, can generate some traffic, but they are not automatic.  You will need to continuously provide content to your followers on those platforms.

For these reasons, I cannot recommend Evergreen Wealth Formula.

  1. Automatic income stream with no content creation and no work to be done once it is set up. Wow that is what I am dreaming off.
Unfortunately this is not as easy as it seems, I know from experience. Driving traffic to simple squeeze pages promoting a product really can work but you must really know your audience very well. You need to know their fears and desires and exactly what they need to solve their problem. Then you have to present your offer to them the right way.
When you promote this way, it is much harder to gain trust and you have to get things right from the beginning.

Content creation on other hand, requires a lot of work but you have more time to connect with your audience and to gain their trust, therefore it is easier to get your offer to convert.

Thanks for a good review. I will stick to Wealthy Affiliate and take the looong way to success. I’ll stand a better chance of succeeding this way.

    1. I know what you mean, Jojo.  Who wouldn’t love a “set it and forget it” system where you just take a couple of hours to set everything up and then just go away and cash checks for the rest of your life?  Unfortunately, most programs that promise something like that don’t deliver.

Wealthy Affiliate doesn’t promise lots of money for little to no work.  In fact, they promise you that success online, while possible, will require hard work and time on your part.  If you put in the hard work over time, you will make money.

  2. Hello Andy,
Today I found your site searching the internet and it is definitely my intention to earn some extra money on the internet. I am 59 years old and I have been producing blueberries since 1997, I have my plantation located in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I would like to ask you more questions related to affiliate marketing, tell me what do you think? Thank you very much, I hope your reply. Regards!

    1. Thanks for the comment!

There are many ways to earn money online, but I think one of the best is to start your own affiliate marketing business.  There are many reasons, but some of the main ones are:

      (1) You can do what you love.

      (2) Very low start-up costs.

      (3) You don’t have to worry about production, shipping, or inventory.

If you’re interested in getting started in affiliate marketing, probably the best thing you can do is head over to Wealthy Affiliate and create a FREE account.  You can read my detailed review of Wealthy Affiliate here.

At Wealthy Affiliate you will find a large community of online entrepreneurs all willing to help you get started.  You’ll also find detailed step-by-step training to help you avoid all the mistakes affiliate marketers going it alone tend to make.  Some of the more advanced training requires a premium membership, but you can decide for yourself if you want to take that step.  You can remain a free member forever if you like.

It’s really a no risk proposition, so if you like, you can get started today.

  3. You obviously have never taken James course because there is no live chat and Web hosting is not included also James is not teaching how to rank websites so really you have done a review when you don’t no what your talking about

    1. Thanks for the comment, Ross.

OF course it’s obvious I’ve never taken the course. I posted a disclaimer right at the beginning of my review stating exactly that. I also never stated that James was teaching how to rank websites. In fact, that is one of the problems I have with Evergreen Wealth Formula. As for the other information, I based that on information provided by others and James’ own marketing content. Thanks for clearing that up, and I will make the appropriate changes to the comparison table.
